After its establishment in 2006 under Public Law 20th, the Syrian Chamber of Shipping, a non-governmental body carries out itsdesignated tasksin close co-operation with competent authorities and other acting bodies in the Syrian maritime sector; as it represents the workers of this pivotal sector.
